 We had a grreat day at the Husse Mansfield Dog Show. 

The generosity of 'Lost Dog Ayrshire' is second to none. The Notts Lost Dogs team are very grateful to have been donated a 2nd thermal monocular by this amazing team.

Today we celebrate our 3rd Birthday!

What an incredible journey it has been.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to every single person who has supported us, shared our posts, donated, volunteered, and believed in what we do. We simply couldn’t have reached this milestone without you.

Over the past three years, we’ve celebrated so many amazing success stories that remind us why we do what we do. We’ve also faced heartbreaking losses that have touched us deeply and strengthened our determination to keep going.

Behind it all is our incredible team, whose dedication, compassion, and hard work make everything we achieve possible. We are so grateful for each and every one of them.

As we look ahead, we’re excited for what the future holds and hope you’ll continue this journey with us. Together, we can make an even bigger difference.

For those that haven't seen Nala's story, here is a recap.

We had not one sighting since the night she bolted until 4 weeks to the day she went missing, we had a call of a definite sighting not too far from where we had been searching and had a camera up. A farm across the road and a few fields away. We searched that night and put a camera and food up but nothing was seen overnight. Then Lesley rang to say she was there again wandering around the farm yard. We arranged to go over with more cameras and a trap and put up the drone. After an hour or so a guy living in one of the houses on the farm realised we were there and said he’d got her in his kitchen. He’d seen her when he got home from work and followed her into his garden and managed to catch her by his pond. After 4 weeks she was skin and bone and probably wouldn’t have lasted much longer. She went straight to the emergency vets. 

Thank you to Lesley, Stuart and all the guys at Goodhouse Farm for keeping an eye on her and to Martin at Eastfield Glamping for letting us search on his land for two weeks.

Nala is now doing well and has put on some weight. She is recovering from her little adventure!

We are thrilled to share that we were able to purchase this 2nd hand Mavic 3T thermal drone at a really good price almost brand new, only used twice.  

Please welcome Alice to our drone fleet in memory of Alice who was sadly lost to the train tracks.  A valuable addition.

WOW…we are absolutely blown away by the kindness and generosity from Lost Dogs Ayrshire.

They have very kindly gifted us an amazing piece of kit, a Hikmicro Lynx lq35 3.0 thermal monocular, which will make such a huge difference to the work we do helping lost and vulnerable dogs.

Support like this means more than words can say. It’s incredible to know there are people and organisations out there willing to help us continue what we do for the dogs that need is most.

We had a lovely day at John Eastwood Hospice. Archie came to see us with his mum, the infamous cockerpoo in our “lightbulb moment” video.  

Today some of the team met up with Beneath The Surface whilst they were in our area, to do a bit of water recovery training. Sadly we have had to recovery a few dogs from water but was also good for the team to know what to do if a person falls in water.
