We are thrilled to share that we were able to purchase this 2nd hand Mavic 3T thermal drone at a really good price almost brand new, only used twice.
Please welcome Alice to our drone fleet in memory of Alice who was sadly lost to the train tracks. A valuable addition.

WOW…we are absolutely blown away by the kindness and generosity from Lost Dogs Ayrshire.
They have very kindly gifted us an amazing piece of kit, a Hikmicro Lynx lq35 3.0 thermal monocular, which will make such a huge difference to the work we do helping lost and vulnerable dogs.
Support like this means more than words can say. It’s incredible to know there are people and organisations out there willing to help us continue what we do for the dogs that need is most.
A massive THANK YOU to Lost Dogs Ayrshire for your support, kindness and generosity which will have a real impact - we truly appreciate it so much.

We had a lovely day at John Eastwood Hospice. Archie came to see us with his mum, the infamous cockerpoo in our “lightbulb moment” video.

Today some of the team met up with Beneath The Surface whilst they were in our area, to do a bit of water recovery training. Sadly we have had to recovery a few dogs from water but was also good for the team to know what to do if a person falls in water.
Thank you Phil, John, Martin, Nick & Martin

We are looking for volunteers in

Today some of the team along with a volunteer from K9 SAR and South Lincs Volunteers and a few others attended Dog First Aid West Nottingham Canine First Aid course.
Dani is fabulous trainer and a lot was learnt and a few laughs along the way.

The team at Notts Lost Dogs - SAR would like to wish you a happy, healthy and safe New Year.
Thank you for all your support.

Rocky’s body was found beside the River Maun in Edwinstowe. Thank you to Scott who found him and called us. The team retrieved his body and took him to Rainbow Bridge Pet Crematorium who will give him the send off he deserves paid for by ourselves.

We have been searching the River Maun for Rocky who fell in on Friday 14/11. The river has been thoroughly searched from the bridge near entry point on Titchfield Park following the river under several bridges for about 3/4 mile along with the banks. Sadly no sign of him but the river has been extremely fast flowing and likely pushed him further down river.
Massive thanks to Beneath The Surface, G4H Rescue. SAR, & Notts 4x4 Response along with Notts Lost dog team for their efforts today. The river search will continue again next weekend when the flow and level subside to a safer level. In the meantime Notts Lost Dogs volunteers will continue with other areas that can be searched safely.

Thank you to everyone that came to support us and bought raffle tickets today at the Farnsfield Christmas Market. Photo of our first prize hamper winner.
We raised a whopping £328.

Team Edward Labrador Rescue very kindly donated us funds to purchase our own thermal drone ! This is a game changer for us and the whole team at NLD SAR can’t thank them enough.
It’s an absolute honour to call it Teddy Edward. Thermal Drone Teddy Edward will take to the skies soon.
